PatiCat Launched

PatiCat was launched on November 14, 2001 near the manufacturing facilities in Cape Town, South Africa. First they placed the boat (without the mast), then later the same day they installed the mast and rigging. We were unable to attend the launch, but Voyage was kind enough to e-mail us some pictures within a day of the launch. During the next week, Voyage and the surveyor we hired conducted sea trials on PatiCat. In addition, some final details such as the installation of our Novasuede upholstery were completed. On November 28, 2001 the delivery crew we hired began her delivery from Cape Town, South Africa to Tortola, British Virgin Islands
